Catalog FAP and Catalytic Converters for Cars, Industrial Vehicles and Marine Engines
CDR Italia regenerates, rebuilds, and supplies new particulate filters (FAP/DPF) and catalytic converters for all makes of automotive, commercial vehicle, and marine applications. We not only regenerate and rebuild the internal components, but also offer the option of purchasing the component new.
Regeneration
Professional cleaning and regeneration of the FAP/catalyst which restores the monolith's original filtering capacity.
Reconstruction of the monolith
Replacement and reconstruction of the internal monolith when it is damaged, melted or irreversibly clogged.
New component
Supply of new, approved, and ready-to-install FAPs and catalytic converters for all makes and models.
Car
Cars and off-road vehiclesParticulate filters and catalytic converters for diesel and gasoline vehicles of all major brands. For each brand, we indicate the most common type of exhaust gas post-treatment system. Available for regeneration, monolith reconstruction, or new.
| Brand | FAP type / Catalytic converter | Service |

Industrial Vehicles
Trucks, buses, heavy transportSolutions for trucks, buses, and heavy-duty vehicles. Commercial vehicles primarily use large-volume FAP/DPF systems combined with SCR/AdBlue for Euro VI compliance. Available for regeneration, monolithic rebuild, or new.

Agriculture
Tractors, combine harvesters, agricultural machineryParticulate filters and SCR systems for tractors, combine harvesters, and agricultural machinery. Stage V machines feature high-capacity DOC + DPF + SCR post-treatment systems, subjected to severe work cycles. Available as regeneration, monolith rebuild, or new.
| Brand | FAP type / Catalytic converter | Service |
|---|
Earthmoving
Excavators, shovels, construction machineryFAP/DPF and SCR systems for excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, and construction equipment. Off-road engines often operate at low rpm and with frequent regenerations, conditions that stress the engine. Available for regeneration, engine rebuild, or new.
| Brand | FAP type / Catalytic converter | Service |

Generators / Generating Sets
Stationary diesel enginesFAP/DPF and catalytic converters for generator sets and stationary diesel engines. Stage V stationary applications require DPF + SCR post-treatment to comply with emissions limits. Available as regeneration, monolith rebuild, or new.
| Brand | FAP type / Catalytic converter | Service |

Forklifts
Diesel and warehouse forkliftsDedicated particulate filters for diesel forklifts. Forklifts operate in short, repeated cycles, often indoors, where the DPF is essential for emissions control. Available as remanufactured, monolithic rebuilds, or new.
| Brand | FAP type / Catalytic converter | Service |

Special Vehicles
Firefighting, street sweepers, airport, militaryFAP/DPF and SCR systems for firefighting vehicles, street sweepers, airport vehicles, and special operations vehicles. We offer tailor-made solutions for demanding and customized applications. Available as remanufactured, monolithic rebuilds, or new.
| Brand | FAP type / Catalytic converter | Service |

Campers / Recreational Vehicles
Motorhomes and vans on a van baseFAP/DPF and SCR systems for campers and vans built on van bases. Campers often travel short distances, which prevents the FAP from fully regenerating, causing it to clog. Available for regeneration, monolith reconstruction, or new.
| Brand (base) | FAP type / Catalytic converter | Service |

Marine Engines
Nautical and marine propulsionParticulate filters and catalysts for inboard, outboard, and sterndrive marine engines. Marine systems comply with specific emissions regulations (IMO/EPA Marine) and require materials resistant to saltwater corrosion. Available as remanufactured, monolithic rebuilds, or new.

Can't find your make or model?
We work on any DPF and catalytic converter. We recondition, rebuild the internal monolith, or supply a new component. Contact us with the make, model, and part number for a quick quote.

What is the difference between regeneration and reconstruction of the monolith?
Regeneration is a deep cleaning process that removes ash and particulate matter, restoring the filter's flow rate. Reconstruction occurs when the internal monolith is melted, cracked, or irreversibly clogged: the ceramic/metal core is replaced, maintaining the original outer body.
Can I buy a new FAP or catalytic converter?
Yes. In addition to regeneration and reconstruction of the internal monolith, CDR Italia supplies new and approved components for cars, industrial vehicles, and marine engines, ready for assembly.
Do you work on all brands?
Yes. We deal with FAP/DPF and catalytic converters for all major brands in the automotive, commercial vehicle, and marine sectors, including special and discontinued applications.
How long does it take to regenerate a particulate filter?
Delivery times depend on the condition of the component and the vehicle type. Contact us with the make, model, and part number to receive a precise timeline and quote.
How much do you save by regenerating the FAP compared to buying a new one?
Regeneration generally costs a fraction of the price of a new, original DPF, with performance restored to factory values. However, if the monolith is irreversibly damaged, we'll evaluate reconstruction or a new component together: we'll always offer you the most cost-effective solution.
How do I know if the FAP is clogged or needs regeneration?
Typical signs include: a DPF/engine light coming on, a drop in power, increasingly frequent regenerations, increased fuel consumption, and smoke from the exhaust. In these cases, it's a good idea to have the filter checked and, if necessary, regenerated before the filter becomes damaged.
Is FAP regeneration legal and does it maintain approval?
Yes. Regeneration restores the existing particulate filter while maintaining its function and efficiency: the vehicle continues to comply with the established emission limits. It is a correct and compliant intervention, different from the removal of the FAP (which is prohibited on the road).
Do you also deal with the SCR system and catalytic converters, not just the FAP?
Yes. In addition to FAP/DPF, we also service catalytic converters and SCR/AdBlue system components. For each brand in our catalog, you'll find the type of post-treatment used.
Do you offer a warranty on work and new spare parts?
Yes. Both the regeneration and reconstruction of the monolith and the new components supplied are covered by warranty. Contact us for details regarding your specific case.
What documents or data are needed for the estimate?
For a quick and accurate quote, all you need is the make, model, year, and, if available, the spare part number (OE) stamped on the component or shown in the owner's manual. A photo of the DPF/catalyst will be even more helpful.
